As CEO of Prospera, Clark brings a trove of experience to the management team. Clark was raised in a builder/developer family. After learning multiple roles in the development and construction process, he led the company’s sales and marketing teams through record-breaking years. He later created his own path by establishing the first and largest door-to-door satellite company in the country with annual revenues in excess of $40 million. He founded a prominent fintech company that develops budgeting software for over 1000 financial institutions which is now worth over $500 million.
Clark has 28 years of real estate industry experience and has owned and operated multiple asset classes: shopping centers, class A office buildings, light industrial buildings, land developments. He has extensive student housing and multifamily experience, having developed and operated several projects, and introduced those and other new verticals to Prospera as fund manager. Clark graduated from Brigham Young University then went on to study at Harvard Business School. He now resides in Lehi, Utah with his devoted wife and four young children with one more on the way in Spring 2020.
As president of Prospera and founder of the software and deal-flow organization that now contributes to Prospera’s prominence, Jones is known, in part, for pioneering higher-quality underwriting and credit models for private lenders and investors. His expertise has been utilized nationally by real estate firms in nearly every asset class, namely: student housing, senior and assisted living, multifamily, investment-purpose SFR (fix-and-flip), office, retail, recreational, agriculture, ground-up development and others.
Jones serves on the American Association of Private Lenders’ Ethics Board and has become an established speaker, instructor, and panelist. Jones is a published author for financial and lending publications and has acted as principal in a number of other ventures throughout various industries, including: addiction treatment, entertainment, production, media, energy, and technology.
Over fifteen years of real estate finance experience, Jones has been instrumental originating and funding over $750 million in transactional volume. He is primarily inspired by his supportive wife and four active children, residing in Lehi, Utah, which has been dubbed “Silcon Slopes.”
